WELCOME
The Mental Health Support Project (MHSP) is a program of the North Lanark Community Health Centre. We are a wellness recovery and drop-in centre that provides resources, activities and social opportunities for people who struggle to achieve and maintain optimal mental health and well-being.
Our program is based on widely recognized peer support values where individuals with lived experience with mental illness, their friends and family can come together in a safe and friendly environment to link-up with a friend, have a chat and a coffee, or if you wish, have some peer-to-peer support time to move forward on your own individual recovery goals.
By promoting and modeling a recovery-based approach to living, we offer hope, encouragement and the shared experience that everyone can build capacities to improve their quality of life and sense of well-being.
Having supportive peers can help you live well with a mental health challenge!
